THE IMPORTANCE OF A CLEANING CYCLE: A clean coffee maker is essential for making great tasting coffee. Minerals in water can detract from the flavor of the coffee and possibly lengthen brew time, which is not ideal. Cleaning the brewer extends the life of the coffee maker.
Wonderful and pretty coffee maker!
My old Krups coffee maker started leaking so I needed a new automatic coffee maker so my granite countertop didn't get stained. I liked the looks of this CRUX one and decided to try it. It's well made and lighter than my last one. I like the glass time carafe because I can see how much I have left and clean it better. I'm a pretty basic coffee person. But the one feature I do especially like about this is it tells you how long the coffee has been made so you know if it's still fresh or not. Great coffee maker
I really like the capacity on this coffee maker, in a family of coffee drinkers I don't have to brew two pots in the morning! It does take a little while to brew, but that doesn't bother me any. Love this coffee maker
I've been using the Crux coffee maker for a couple of weeks now and it is by far my favorite. We drink coffee all day and it's always a battle for the last cup, I am so thankful for the extra two cups this machine provides! 14 glorious cups of coffee. It is so easy to use and to program. It comes with a washable basket so you don't even have to use filters. Did I mention that this coffee maker has a cleaning cycle? We go through so many machines because even with routine cleanings, they typically stop flowing due to buildup. This is the first coffee maker that I've ever owned that can clean itself which I believe is going to extend its life. It is also aesthetically pleasing with the black and stainless silver. It blends in with my other kitchen appliances perfectly. It also has this incredible programming feature that you can adjust the strength level of your coffee.
